Ken Annakin

Kenneth Cooper Annakin, OBE (10 August 1914 – 22 April 2009) was an English film director. His earliest forays into directing were for the British Council whilst working with Greenpark/Verity Productions.

Within the British Council Film Collection, Annakin worked with renowed cinematographer Geoffrey Unsworth on Make Fruitful the Land. Outside of the collection, Jack Cardiff was his cinematographer on The Fifth Musketeer (1979), and coincidentally both men would later die on 22nd April 2009.
